How do I find out what a tool does?
Tap a tool to see its name. Press and hold any tool for a second or two to open a short animated guide showing how to use it.
How do I move around and zoom?
Use two fingers to move the canvas and pinch to zoom. You can also choose the Pan tool (the hand) to move around with one finger.
How do I copy part of a drawing or a photo?
Choose Lasso Select and draw a loop around what you want. Cut, Copy, Delete and Duplicate appear straight away. To paste, press and hold on an empty spot.
How do I crop an image?
Paste or import the image, then choose Crop. Drag the corner and edge handles, or drag inside the frame to move it, then tap Crop. Undo puts it back. Crop works on images, not on drawings.
How do I change the size or colour of text?
Tap the text to select it, then open Tool Settings (the sliders button). Changes apply to the selected text. With no text selected, they are used for the next text you add.
A tool isn’t changing what I drew.
Tools only change the selected layer. Open Layers, tap the layer you want, then try again. Layers is also where you hide, delete or flatten layers.
Is my drawing saved?
AdsumDraw doesn’t keep your drawing after you close the app. Use the Share button to save a copy to Photos or Files first. On a Mac, use File › Export Drawing.
Does AdsumDraw collect my data?
There’s no account to create. Your drawings stay on your device: AdsumDraw doesn’t upload them anywhere.
